As the spats between Nick Clegg and David Cameron are becoming more and more familiar, its a shame that in the first 18 months of the gov’t the Libdems didn’t dare say “boo” to the goose! Maybe had they students wouldnt be paying 3 times what they were in 2010 and maybe the NHS would be in such a scornful state it is today. There maybe another 2 years of this gov’t term to go but no amount of back peddling will see the Libdems regain their lost votes or any modicum of respect from the public of this great country. 

Nick Clegg, to me at least, is nothing more than a pen pushing, red tape pedaling, promise breaking ‘muppet of a man’. He raised the hopes of many thousands (if not millions) of young people in this country talking about tuition fees, he raised hopes of those same people and more through his promises on the NHS and his stance on cuts during the 2010 election. Yet all we see, day in day out, is a spineless buffoon who has a new best friend in David Cameron, and they grow ever closer as time passes meaning more cuts more failings and a worse off country thanks to this government which they lead. 

So, if you hadn’t already gathered my answer… No, Nick Clegg doesn’t have a backbone, he doesn’t even seem to have his own brain at times and when he does show a little thought his spineless nature means he gets no where and continues to fail this country day after day. 

Personally, I can’t wait until May 2015 when we see the back of the troublesome twosome.
